Early December 2017 I spent a week in Morocco, mostly based out of Casablanca, but did manage to take a bus to Rabat for the day. The highlight of my day was a visit to the Kasbah of the Udayas built in the 12th century at the mouth of the Bou Regreg river. As you pass through the main gate (above photo) you find yourself in a sea of blue and white maze of corridors with beautifully decorated doors throughout. Local guides accost you for guided tours, but it’s such an adventure to just explore on your own.
It was nice to have found a small outdoor “cafe” on the Bou Regreg river for a rest and a delicious snack of pastries with mint tea.
Great Photos Robbie. I think Morocco will be added to my bucket list.
Thanks, Les, Morocco is an amazing place!
